A beautiful, intimate, limited-time-only event space, Galleria illy is where established and emerging artists, filmmakers, authors, musicians and other cultural tastemakers perform and interact with those with a taste for beauty and original thought.
And, where the world’s finest baristas delight visitors with the singular, signature taste of illy. All in a place evoking illy’s signature look and instinctive feel for beauty, down to a striking, spiral chandelier of nearly 100 original espresso cups created by renowned artists for the illy collection.
Galleria illy first opened in New York City in 2005. Over its three-month run, this first Galleria fast became a cultural destination, introducing original works by artists James Rosenquist and Julian Schnabel, screening new works by filmmakers like Roni Horn and Shirin Neshat, and playing host to readings by acclaimed authors and discussions with some of cuisine’s brightest lights.
Following its New York run, Galleria illy moved to Milan, and then Trieste, evolving and incorporating each city’s own cultural touchstones.
The journey continued in 2010, with openings in Berlin and Istanbul.
And now Galleria illy is opening in London, on September 12
