Dammann Frères
Dammann Frères
Dammann Frères, based at Orgeval in the IIe de France, was the first House to import tea into France in 1692. Another first came in the 1950's when the House launched its natural aroma-flavoured teas. Never short of ideas, in the 1980s the House launched its Cristal sachet, an original tea bag that while typically practical also ensures a high quality, full-flavoured brew, appreciated by even the most discerning lovers of this fine beverage.
The House is currently run by third generation members of the Jumeau-Lafond family and headed by Didier Jumeau-Lafond. Dammann Frères is currently renowned the world over for its wide range of exclusive fine teas and aromatic blends. In addition to being preferred by countless consumers, Dammann Frères teas are to be found in the finest hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
