Giorgio Milos
Professional barista
Giorgio is a born barista: there is no better way to describe him. He joined illy in 1995, after previously working in the coffee bar and restaurant industry. Committed to quality control till 2000, he was then put in charge of the training and management of the first espressamente illy for two years. Precise, professional and determined, he has been a Udc (University of Coffee) teacher since 2003 and he also traines espressamente illy staff in Italy and abroad. Cappuccino and cocktails are his passion/obsession.
It is impossible to feel uncomfortable with him: even though he is a SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe) Qualified Instructor and he won the Italian Barista Championship 2008 sponsored by SCAE, he has kept his feet well on the ground.
